2004

Cellfish is founded by Fabrice Sergent and Julien Mitelberg.

2004

Cellfish France launches i-Mode Applications.

2004

Cellfish launches BlingTones, the world’s first wireless record label.

October 2006

After originally being part of Lagardère SCA, Cellfish raises $50M in a Series A Round from Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec, Trio Capital and Desjardins Venture Capital.

March 2007

Cellfish raises $10M in a Series A Round from Solidarity Fund QFL, bringing the total funding to $60 million, one of the biggest single funding rounds ever for a mobile entertainment company.

2009

Cellfish France becomes Cellfish Europe, launching operations in Germany.

October 2010

Cellfish acquires Airborne Mobile to create Cellfish Studios.

September 2011

Cellfish acquires Bandsintown, a top-rated concert discovery app on Facebook for live music fans & artists.

June 2013

Cellfish acquires ToneMedia, a premium ad platform that connects music preferences with consumer buying habits.

March 7, 2014

Bandsintown awarded Top Developer Badge by Google.

April 14, 2014

Bandsintown reaches 10 Million registered concert-goers.

July 1, 2014

Bandsintown Manager launches on iOS and Android, allowing artists and talent managers to promote their events from the road and increase engagement with their fans.
